From Ban Phe ferries and speadboats start to Samet. There is a number of piers: Municipality, Nuantip, AO Prao, Tarua Phe, Chok Krista, Seree, Jadet, Sri Ban Phe.

Ban Phe is located in 140 km from Bangkok and in 80 km from Pattaya.
Taxi to Ban Phe and Transfer to Koh Samet
First part of way to Koh Samet is by car to Ban Phe pier. Then you need get to ferry or speed boat to reach the island.

Booking transfer please keep in mind the ferries start from 08:00 AM till 18:00. There is no strict time of starting for each ferry: it starts once get full of passengers.
Ferry arrives to three different resorts of Koh Samet: Von Duen, Prao, Nadan. Thus to get the island by ferry takes from 25 to 45 min. One way costs 70 THB/person; round trip is 120 THB/person.
Alternative is speed boat. Speed boat will bring you to Koh Samet almost anytime within 10-15 minutes. The rate is between 1,000 and 2,000 THB.
