It is located in a distance of 350 km from Bangkok and 260 km from Pattaya.
Taxi and Individual Transfer to Koh Chang
A part of tourists preffers to get to Koh Chang by plane: to airport of Trat and then by ferry from the pier. However number of flights is limited as long as Trat is domestic airport of Thailand. Majority of tourists book individual transfer from Bangkok or Pattaya to island.

While booking taxi please keep in mind that last ferry leaves from Trat pier at 07:00 PM. So far it is worth to start from Pattaya before 02:00 PM, from Bangkok before 01:00 PM. If you need transfer from BKK airport (Suvarnabhumi) and your flight arrives after 12:00 PM, we recommend to stay till next morning in Bangkok or Pattaya.
Booking taxi for return trip from Koh Chang is worth to leave hotel before 05:00 - 05:30 PM to get the last ferry accordingly.
